Salomon preschool education program

 Our program focuses on the over all development of knowledge, skills and wholistic personal growth. Our lesson plans and methods, are arranged to envelop a wide spectrum of themes and activities. 

Through a variety of interesting methods children learn the colors, shapes, letters, numbers, seasons, weather and holidays throughout the entire year. WE also discuss situational safety, the human body, heath and nutrition, faily jobs, traveling, and books. We also sing Czech and English songs each day. Throughout our numerous daily activities we focus on intellectual, creative development, adn specifically on suffiecient time spent in physical activities. Throughout the year we go on field trips and attend the theater. 

Daily Schedule

In this multicultural invironment the children learn languages in a fun and natural way, with the help of songs, rhymes, games, stories, and frequently repeated direction during other activities. Through these aforementioned mediums, vocabulary is applied, remembered, and remembered well. In this way are copying the environment of bilingual homes. We don't encourage just "learn by memory" vocabulary, but we try to get the kids to need to use the language while communicating. Contact with native speakers, students as well as teachers, will help the children to use this new found language with a more natural accent. Also we encourage and direct a child's development of their mother tongue. For examle Czech teachers will correct pronunciation and help the child expand their vocabulary.

Art Activities: Participation in arts project is a must! According to age and skill, appropriate activities will be prepared for the kids.

Sports Activities: Children play outside at a near-by play ground, and older kids have the opportunity to go to a gym. We are not focused on their physical achievements so much, but rather on the development of motor skills, coordination, of a positive attitude toward sports, support of healthy growth and correct posture.
